Coaching for neurodivergent people
Many neurodivergent people have spent years adapting themselves to fit systems, expectations, and ways of working that don’t really suit them. Often very well, almost always at some cost.
I work with neurodivergent people who want space to think, reflect, and make sense of their experience without being pathologised or pushed to change who they are. Some come with a diagnosis, some are questioning or exploring, and some simply know that the usual advice has never quite landed (or landed briefly, then fell over).
My approach is neurodivergence-affirming coaching. I don’t see your brain as a problem to be solved, and I’m not interested in helping you to be a version of yourself that requires constant effort and a convincing rather forced kind of smile. Instead, we pay attention to how you actually function — how your attention moves, how your energy fluctuates, how pressure affects you — and what you need in order to live and work in ways that are more sustainable.
Our work together is shaped by what matters to you. At times that might mean looking at practical adjustments or decisions. Sometimes it’s more about making sense of patterns, experiences, or beliefs that have built up over time, particularly around expectation, self-trust, or the long history of being told (directly or indirectly) to try harder.
We will create a space to slow things down, think carefully, and explore what might be more sustainable — and to do that without pressure to get it “right”.
My coaching sessions are held online to keep it deliberately low-pressure. We can talk together about pace, structure, and what you need from the work. There’s no obligation to continue beyond what feels genuinely useful.
There’s no single way these sessions are meant to look — we work in a way that respects how your mind works. You can read more about my overall approach to online coaching below.
