Burnout and overwhelm

Burnout and overwhelm often show up after a long period of holding it all together.

You may still be functioning but there’s a sense of strain underneath it all: A tiredness that doesn’t lift, a feeling that even small things take more effort than they used to.

This could be from extended responsibility, ongoing pressure or roles that have gradually become bigger without ever really being renegotiated.

I meet people who are exhausted in ways that don’t respond to rest alone anymore. Those, who care deeply about what they do and about the people around them. They have learned (often unconsciously) to keep going long past the point where something needed to shift, because responsibility feels personal, letting others down feels unacceptable, and there is always one more thing that still needs doing.

Together, we work on understanding what your exhaustion is connected to. That might include the conditions you’re operating in, the patterns you’ve relied on to cope or the values that have kept you committed even when the cost has become too high.

Sometimes this means untangling what’s actually draining your energy from what feels draining because it’s gone on too long.

Our conversations are shaped by what you’re living with right now. That might involve easing mental overload, finding ways to reduce strain without stepping away from what matters, or beginning to rebuild a sense of internal permission rest, adjust, say no or do things differently.

This work moves at a pace that respects your capacity. It’s not here to turn into another item on the list you’re already carrying around in your head.

Sessions are held online, to keep the work accessible and low-pressure. If you’d like to understand more about how I work, you can do that below.
