Kristin and I recently spent a weekend in Bruges.
We arrived tired from travelling and hungry.
We checked into the hotel, dropped our bags in our room and went out to search for somewhere still serving food.
We found this place, a minutes walk from our hotel. We ordered fries and red wine.
Bellies full, we wandered the streets of Bruges.
I took some photos.
Kristin tried on cheap sunglasses.
The buildings in Bruges are really tall.
And there are lots of bikes….
…as well as windmills.
We rode hire-bikes to a nearby village and got confused by all the street-signs.
On the way back, we rode past this pub. It’s the oldest pub in Bruges, dating back to 1515.
We also saw some more windmills.
Back in Bruges, we took a boat-trip along the river where we saw a dog with possibly the best dog-bed ever. Can you see him?
Tired from all the sightseeing, we stopped at a cafe and Kristin ate a waffle with strawberries…
…before visiting Saint Saviour’s Cathedral.
I really liked Bruges.
Especially because I spent it with this girl.
